Ministry of agriculture and rural areas: strengthening joint defense and joint control to severely crack down on "pig hype "

In July 12th, the general office of the Ministry of agriculture and Rural Affairs issued the notice on combating and guarding against "pig hype" behavior to ensure the safety of pig breeding industry (hereinafter referred to as the notice).

The notice pointed out that in recent years, a group of specialized "pig hype" gangs had abandoned the dead pigs to farms (households) first, then manufactured and disseminating public opinion about the outbreak of farms, and then drastically reduced prices to buy pigs. The above "pig hype" act is suspected of obstructing animal epidemic prevention, seriously affecting the normal development of African swine fever prevention and control work, seriously disrupting the order of pig production and seriously damaging the legitimate rights and interests of farmers.
