Losses amount to 750 million euros, 100,000 agricultural enterprises in Italy may be closed
About 100,000 agribusinesses may cease to operate due to a surge in production costs, experts from the Italian Association of Agricultural Growers said after analysing the latest national data. The association also released a report saying that nearly 11 percent of the nation's agricultural businesses are on the verge of closing, and about 30 percent are forced to operate at a loss.
